Question about 2000 Nissan Maxima
Usually i have found the valve from the inlet manifold going towards the fire wall on most vehicles is blocked or broken , it may also be electronic on your car but , on most cars it fits between water hose about 3/4 to and 1 inch in diameter coming from inlet manifold , this is on oposite side of motor from exhaust , and usuall has a few clamps holding it on . this would be first thing i would check , sometimes cleaning this valve fix's your problem .
ask a freind which hose if you are unsure (somebody who has a little experience with cars .)
i dont have your model car but i have fixed other cars with the same fault !
