This may sound a bit stupid but I suggest that you check the positive battery cable (below the main fuse). That was where my problem came from. On mine I had 700 and 705 codes and it got to where the starter lost it's solenoid signal.

My friend this sounds like a catalytic converter problem. A number one symptom in the case of a "burned up" catalyst is loss of power or as you put it bogged down. Try disconnecting at the flange if not too much trouble or simply remove the O2 sensor downstream and see if pressure changes (old trick)

My engine light came on i felt a little shift when i took off no other real problem i was told that it could be po700 trans control system malfuntion and also p1776 manufacture control

You need to get the code(s) read to be sure what it is. Take it to a shop that you trust and they will hook it up to a code scanner and tell you exactly what code(s) there are. From there you can plan your repairs.

Getting the following codes from a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am....... PO121 TPS / Pedal Position Sensor A CKT Range / Perf Also, PO341 Camshaft Position Sensor A - Bank 1 CKT Range/Perf. Any thoughts on the

po121 means that there is a problem with the throttle position sensor ( tps). or in the wiring or connector, most likely its the tps that is bad. first remove connection from tps, heres how to test. use an ohms meter and hook a lead to top or bottom terminal of tps. use other probe on center terminal of tps. move throttle plate slowly, if the needle on meter does not move at a smooth pace, then tps is bad. good-luck!!

the heated o2 sensor is bad or has a bad connection it is usually the sensor after the catalytic converter and from the description you gave i wold say it is the one after the converter and you need to check any engine speed sensors crank sensors or cam sensors. the crank sensor would be by the crankshaft im not sure where the cam sensor would be and some vehicles wont have one im not sure if yours does
