It could be fuel pressure related, and pressure testing the system would verify the fuel pump is operating correctly. Is there a check engine light on? Are there any trouble codes stored in the PCM (computer) memory?

Fuel filter could be the cause also, and will affect the fuel systems pressure. This part is should be replaced as regu;ar maintenance and it would not hurt a thing to replace it. I do not want you to purchase any other parts untill we test them first. This can cost and waste $$$$ by just guessing.

The first thing I would check is stored trouble codes. Is the check engine light on?

  • GetMeOttaHere Nov 10, 2010

Ok, then there is a fault code stored in the PCM memory. This code will point us in a direction to begin diagnostics. Autozone will connect a code reader to your vehicle for FREE and tell you what codes are present if you do not have a code reader.

  • GetMeOttaHere Nov 10, 2010

Your looking for a fault code that will indicate that the computer recognizes and problem with one of the engine management components. Your vehicle is an OBDI system, and is capable of analyzing the On Board Diagnostics. I guess from your response, you do not have a code reader.

  • GetMeOttaHere Nov 10, 2010

Replacing the filter is an excallent idea to start with. Like I said before, it will not hurt anything and it is a maintence procedure that is done frequently. Replace the filter and reply back with results.

    Ok, sounds great.

The PCM must have a fault code stored and should be read with a code reader.

to eliminate the wheel area youll need to have a place where they balance the tire on the truck.and if it still shakes transmission is questionable
