The part you are talking about is could a syncronizer gear. it has two parts to it. it usually comes in a package of all the syncronizers. This is a challenging project. you have to pull the transmission and completely dissassble it to replace these. lots of parts and bearings for the novice. anyway you should be able to get these parts at any transmission shop or dealership.
