Question about 2001 Cadillac Catera
The oil cooler is integrated into the engine and cooling systems and is an important part. There is a new design oil cooler and install kit which replaces the original part that had many problems. It's located on top of the engine and should only be replaced if you are very mechanically inclined. The cooling system and oil must also be flushed if there has been an oil cooler failure.
