This may be caused by a misfire, this can be caused due to a tuneup, have the plugs and sparkplug wires checked, also is the check engine light on? if so scan the codes, many autopart stores will scan for free if there are misfire codes then i would start with a complete tune up and go from there, the most common problem when this happens is a tuneup is needed or the fuelpump is weak, to test the fuelpump you will need to have a pressure tester put on the fuel rail, hope this helps. good luck.
