Question about 1991 Pontiac Grand Am
If you have removed all of the screw from around the door handle and ect, there are little plastic clips that also hold the door panel to the door. There is a tool out there to do this that keeps you from breaking the clips but you probably do not have one. You can also take a medium straight screw driver and gently in the bottom corner slip it in there and slowly start to pry the panel lose, as you are doing this look to see where the clips are and get your screw driver behind them to minimize breakage. If you do happen to break them you can go to an auto parts store and get replacements.
Also make sure that in the handle there are a couple places where you have to remove a "cap" to get at the screws.
