You have a vacuum leak inside your vehicle in the ducting system. If it only does it when you go to heat i would look at the vacuum actuator that controls your heater valve and the vacuum hoses connected to it.

1999 Malibu with a 2.4, 180K miles, ran great then got in it one morning, and it hasn't run good since. Barely starts, no power, rough idle, Po300 code. Changed plugs, coils, module. No change. ...

Yes, crank sensor may be the problem. Have you looked at the sparks to see if they are strong and periodic? A new sensor is under $20--lucky you. Here is a quick test of the sensor, which is just above the oil filter:
TESTINGjturcotte_1725.gif

  1. Turn the ignition key OFF .

NOTE Inspect crank sensor and connector for signs of oil leaking through the sensor. This would indicate a defective sensor.
  1. Unplug the sensor electrical harness and check the terminals for corrosion and damage.
  2. Check the sensor wiring harness wires for continuity and repair as necessary.
  3. Disconnect the sensor and connect the test leads across the terminals A and B .
  4. Resistance should be between 900-1200 ohms.

Low oil pressure reading 1990 jeep cherokee laredo

If this is a high mileage vehicle, say 180k or higher, treatments are not going to help. As mileage increases, the tolerances and clearances in the mating parts increases. This will lower oil pressure. I have a 90 Safari with 192K. Oil pressure was identicle to yours. I put new rod and main bearings in it and now it never goes below 40 psi, even when hot and idling. I tried additives and all I got was more trouble, It started smoking and using a qt. of oil every 300 MILES. I put valve stems seals in and it helped alittle but not near enough. It is now parked and driven only when have to. This is a result of the previous owner of my vehicle not changing oil at regular intervals and overall poor upkeep of it.

Good Luck

just off the wall guess here but sounds like oil filter sending unit in the pan these get cloged with old sitting oil use a solution like warner mystery oil in pan with normal oil this will break down old oil after 500 miles replace oil and do it again for 3 + 500 mile oil changes this will help clean out the old oil
also you might have gotten your plug wires wrong in fireing order
