Question about 1996 Ford Ranger SuperCab
No,you need to rebuild the trans,it is burnt, that means it is done, overheated
You need to pull the trans and completely disassemble, to do the band,so where did that come from?
Bands are installed, adjusted once and that is it. Never need constant adjustment,no wear, just burn up, along with everything else.
Now you got to hope, you got no hard part damage.
