91 3.1 V6 firebird base_Mystery Machine needs help!!!

As i tried to explain in my prev.question My car stalls out while on the move and it seems to always happen uphill so far i have had it at a local shop for 5 days and he cant figure out what is wrong with all his diagnostic equipment. .
The car stalls I must of course come to a complete stop to put it in park and restart it.
Yes it restarts when it does restart its not long before the car stalls out again. When i put gas on the accelerator it chuggs more and it clearly dont help me to accelerate fuel when i restart it...
The fuel block was ticking i guess searching for gas..
I have replaced the I.A.C.
The Distributor plugs and wires.
Fuel Filter.
The mechanic even installed a new ECM and some other parts that he was able to uninstall and return because it was found that these things were not the source of the issue we had been looking for..Practically replacing the fuel system fuel module and all!!
CAN YOU HELP ME OUT PLEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEE! Why wont my car stay running without stalling and chugging out after driving around almost all day. What could it be?? Mystery machine! Hey scooby! My next move has to be a dealer Unless i can get some sound insight on the mysterious stalling machine..Good thing i have good insurance!!haha! but dang!

I had a Ford Bronco 2 that did the same thing. It would start and run fine but it had no power to go up hill and it took for ever to get up to speed. After doing all the same things u did it ended up being a plugged catalatic converter. Maybe you have the same think?

91 firebird v6 It started up drove it around block let sit for 45

my car is doing the exact same thing. these cars have a tendancy to jump time. the best way to check is to pull ur plugs and turn the motor over by hand till the #1 cylinder(front left side of engine) is up. u tell if its up by putting a screwdriver or something in the hole. then go to ur distributer and see if the rotor tip is on the #1 spot on the cap. if not the timing is off.

Idleing Problems Need help

I had the same problem when I first got my firebird. All I did to mine was change the Spark plugs and wires, and had a mechanic friend of mine check and set the timing. since then I haven"t and problem with the idleing on my car. Personally I would also change out the cap and rotor, and see if that helps.
