Question about Ford Ranger
Hi! One thing to consider if there is no spark. Please do check the distributor coil. If the distributor coil is faulty the result will surely no spark to the plugs. Please be sure that the distributor cap and plug wires are good too. Hope this helps and thank you for using FIxYa!

You need several things to make your car run, spark, fuel, compression and
all at the right time... ie TDC (Top Dead Center). If all are working,
then the car will run. So one is not right and you say it has fire? I
assume you mean spark. Check if the compression is ok and all
cylinders are 100 psi or approx., then it must be fuel.
Check if you are getting fuel pressure. With a tester at the rail the pressure will be 45psi approx.; if you are getting no pressure then look at the pump and relay. Let us know what you find.
