BMW cutting out

-   hi there . I have issues with my bmw and really hoping you can help me --- very simular issue as prev with cutting out when hot ---- to start of with car is bmw e46 318i 2001 -- problem is car start ok when cold but when heats up asc light also abs and handbrake warning light comes on --- shortly after this engine will cut out -- if I leave it for 10 minutes it will start again but it will just keep doing the same thing over and over again --- I got the car plugged into diagnostic machine ( snap on ) which come up which 3 error codes 1 - 5df4 ( system voltage 9 volts ) 2 - 5e1a can - ( data error from dme / dde 3 - 5df5 ecu internal error. -   i have very simaler prob, my 52 plate 318i cuts out, the stop light comes on and the traction control light then it starts again. so annoying-   Guest
