Question about 1998 Ford Escort
1998 Ford Fiesta 1.3 Finesse UK spec car starts fine 90% of the time. When it doesn't start there is no smell of fuel that you would expect from multiple attempts to start car, and there is a strong spark at each plug lead. Checking the fuel lines confirms fuel is reaching the injectors.
Note new keys were programmed a few weeks ago, could this be a factor?
Does the immobiliser light by the clock go on for around 5 secs and go out, if yes the immobiliser is fine, if it flickers constantly, thats the fault.
