Can the four window motors in a pointac sunfire (2004) be interchanged?

It is very unlikely that all four window motors have failed at the same time. Your either have broken wires or a faulty master switch

Feels like I'm being held back

Sounds like your brakes are sticking. Possibly the emergency brake is not disengaging entirely? Stop the car and put in park. Apply emergency brake as hard/far as possible. Then release and put in drive and try to go. Most emergency brakes are self adjusting. If the problem still persists, have it taken to your mechanic.

"cold" start lurching and "indecision" in choosing between electric and gas engine. Mechanically felt like a slipping clutch. Problem subsided after about 10 minutes run time.

Partial cars are still in the infant stage and there will be problems at the point where the CPU has to decide wether to power up and charge the battery or run on a dwindling battery supply. The cars are designed to charge the battery off the brake application so on long down hill runs with the brakes applied the energy is converted to charge the battery and it will be at this point if the battery is nearly flat that the CPU is hesitant to start the engine or rely on the charge from the brakes. I would think that there will be a huge learning curve before you get the hang of it. However having said all that , I would think a trip to a service centre to check it out might be in order.

1992 lexis car replaced thepowersteering pump now it won't turn at all

bleed power steering with engine off pour power steering fluid in the power steering reservoir until fluid stay at full mark on powersteering pump dip stick.wait few minutes then check powersteering fluid again if low add little more when fluid level stop dropping crank vechicle turn steering left to right with out a stop turn steering wheel all the way to the left to all way to right for minute until air bubbles leave the powersteering fluid. when steering wheel feel normal stop engine check check power steering fluid should be at full hot mark if fluid level dont drop air is out the system. dont overfill powersteering reservoir if so you will blow front seal.dont drive vechicle if steering dont feel normal have vechicle towed in garage.

Instrument panel says check gas cap, then i got the engine light coming on, checked the codes and it indicates a large leak , i changed the gas cap, but both problems remain.

This is due to an evap leak, the gas vapor system is no holding vacuum or pressure, a smoke machine would be the tool to locate the leak, check around engine compartment for any broken lines, let me see if i can get a diagram of the evap system,a bad purge valve or vent valve can cause this problem. also remove the upper engine cover and you will see the ppurge valve in the front, mice like to nest there and eat hoses to purge valve, another test is with a cold engine start it with cover off and hold on to purge valve and feel it turn on and it vibrates a little it may take up to 5 mins, to turn on if it doesnt then replace it, you can also locate the groung wire and then apply power to the power wire and pull vacuum hose from the other end and when you apply power vac should flow through port and stop when power is removed,

Very squeaky belt or pully, use to stop when gas pedal applied but now squeaks when gas pedal applied and most idle times. Been using wd40 but doesn't work as good now

1999 probably has a serpantine belt (multi grooved). I would guess that you may have a squeaky belt or more likley a bad bearing in on of the idler pulleys. Remove the belt and spin the idlers by hand. If one feels rough or makes noise replace it.

2005 honda accord noise when breaking (transaxle)

You say you hear the noise when you "slow down". Does this mean you hear the thumping noise when you let off the gas and let the car coast to a stop or only when you are applying the brakes to decellerate?
If you only hear the noise while applying the brakes then I would assume it has something to do with your brakes. The first thing that comes to mind would be rotors that aren't true or warped which could make a thumping sound.

Do you feel any vibrations in your foot when it is applying pressure to the brake pedal? If you do feel a sort of pulsating feeling then it could very well be your brakes making the noise.

I hope I was of some assistance,
