Sounds like a bad ground on the frame, or the fuse-able link

I had to replace the ign switch. I was sent the wrong ign switch and I don't think the coil is the wrong part. The old one has a sensor on it that the magnets would energize I'm not sure but I think it...

First, any large-chain auto parts store should be able to compare the parts & tell you what would indicate one model versus another for your vehicle.
Second, make sure that the transmission is set for starting the vehicle; automatic transmissions should be in either Park or Neutral; manual transmissions should be out of gear & one foot should be on the brakes & the other foot on the clutch. Transmission issues could keep a vehicle from starting.
Third, a starter interrupt system (such as for anti-theft/theft deterence or for lojack systems used by dealerships on some vehicles) could be the culprit.
Fourth, the starter could be faulty. You could have it tested at an auto parts store. Also, the battery could be too weak to turn the starter.
Fifth, the "power" fuse could be blown. (This would usually result from installing the main battery backwards so that the polarity of the battery terminals were paired to the wrong polarity of cables.) Also, the starter relay could be at fault.

My brake and battery lights are both on my 2008 nissan maxima will go faster than 40 mph, what is wrong?

Battery light on may mean alternator is not charging, thus engine is running off only battery power = weak spark and bad curent to ECM. Fix battery issues and should run better. Brake light separate issue I think.

The security system thinks that something is wrong and is sounding the horn and flashing the lights. This is because the system had no battery power. Unlock all the doors, put key in ignition turn all way except to start the engine. remove key from ignition and lock all doors, This may reset the security system.

Camry 2007 repalced battery , but was put in wrong, now won't start, no lights, power windows not working but the dash lights work, could it be a fuse?

Check your fusible link.It is tied into positive battery cable, goes to starter and alternator,it is burnt up.

I think I have a dead battery 2006 911. Turn the key and instrument lights come on then had some clicking (rear spoiler went up). Tried turning key again and instrument lines came on but no clicking....

In the manual there is a detail instruction on how to connect a battery to the fusebox to provide power to open the lid. Once the trunk is open you can start the car with some help from there. After you got your engine going there is a good chance that the emission light in the dashboard will come on (indicating an engine problem). In my experience there is no problem with the engine, but since the sensor was powered down I think it registers it wrongly. You can take it to the shop to reset the light and check emissions or you can do it with an OBDII tool yourself. If it comes on again then you should definitely take it to the shop. Also make sure you buy a new battery since they tend to get damaged if they are discharged completely.

My Jaguar is not getting any gas.

I think the car quit charging and once the battery got down to under 11 volts then there was not enough power to run your ignition system.Put a set of booster cables from someone else's car to yours[make sure not to hook them up wrong post poos neg to neg].Let the two cars just set there charging for 190 minutes or so and then your car should start and run fine if i'm right,if this is the case, get the alternator looked at or get the drive belt to it.

Today our suburban dies while sitting at a light, lost all power and with a little tlc started up. We brought her home right away. We just went to check on her and she wont unlock with the power remotes...

I think you are right. the battery is dead. make sure the battery cables / terminals are clean and tight. Charge or replace the battery. If the battery is over three years old you should probably replace it. Once you get it started again make sure your alternator is working. this is the part that charges the battery while the car is running. Usually if it isnt working you will get a battery light on in the dash. or if you have a volt meter your battery voltage should be at about 14.30 Volts while the car is running. also make sure your belt is in good shape check for cracks and shinny surface.

I have telstar tx5 ghia 1990 2,2l 4 cilind automatic, power everithing, car is done 240000.yus wont start one mornig doing klik didn t start and couple time kliking alnaser (starter) and i have used cable ...

Easiest test is to reconnect jumper cables and switch lights on, if these work and no noise AT ALL from starter, NO clicking at all then could be the jumper cables are too light like most are. Try 2 sets of jumper cables. Ensure that the cables are correclty applied, Red to Red and the black is the last connection to a good steel part on your engine, NOT the battery.Always ensure the car being used to jump from is running at all times while cables are connected. When it starts remove this one FIRST also.
