My distributor i need to know if my distributor from my civic will fit my 94 v-tec to a 97 civic witch one will fit

All you have to do is call parts dept at any dealership or even autozone and they will cheerfully tell you. if you are too shy to call, try looking up the part on autozone and seeing if they are the same part number. my knee **** reaction is that it probably wont as the engines changed in 1997 but i could be dead wrong. so just make one phone call and your troubles will melt away. good luck

so some one has done a engine swap if there are left over plugs then the engine light will be on v-tec engines have solenoids that operate the camshaft the 1500 non v-tec does not .computer and wiring are different.

There are repair shop manuals that will tell you that, but by far the easiest way to find out, is to call your local wrecking yard or U-pull it type place. They can tell you if they wanted to.

There's no wires to connect, you need to have an OBII scan done. Any good parts store can do the scan for FREE (Autozone, Advance, etc)

Took need firing order on 1988 honda civic removed spark plugs wires distributorcap dont know witch wire goes where


what size engine.. do you have new wires... you need the number off the wires so you can put them in properly... because each wire will go to specific cylinder and place on the distributor

95 civic with turbo 94 delsol v-tech motor. no spark!!


check if the distributor is good or it could be your msd try installing stock coil and distributor.

Yes, they are 2 different things in regards to how the engine computer reads it.
