SOURCE: Is there an air bleeder valve for removing air

No. Fill up the the radiator run it for about 5 min open cap and fill it up some more. Then run it like normal for a day or so. then pull off cap again and make sure its still full. what happens is when it runs all the hoses and everything fill up. there is no bleeder but there is an overflow clear tank. it looks like a windshield washer fluid tank. it has 2 marks on it. One when the motor is hot full and the one when the motor is cold. full.

Install a back flush kit on the engine. Connecting a garden hose to it will push any air in the block into the radiator so you can see when the air has been purged.

2002 gmc envoy is over heating have changed the thermostate and the put new radiator but its still over heating any suggestions

Have the FAN CLUTCH checked. they are a common failure. Get a AC DELCO or the part from the dealer. Why was the radiator replaced? Heater work OK? A/C works OK?

Over heating

Check coolant levels. Check for leaks by doing a pressure test on the car. Make sure the thermostat is operating correctly. Inspect radiator and water pump. If you can't see anything wrong and coolant levels are good, try flushing and filling the cooling system to see if that helps. Also is the radiator fan operating correctly. Good Luck.
