That really depends on your engine size.
The 2.2L 4 cyl with and without turbo needs a rectangular
the 3L 6 cyl needs rectangular
the 2.5L 4 cyl needs round.

The size of the wire going from the + side of your battery will influence the amount of amps available to the generator.
Amount of amperage produced by the alternator is affected by engine RPM. The regulator senses battery condition and battery draw and controls charging up to the rated amps on the alternator.
The peak amount of charge the alternator can deliver will be at be off idle and up till the regulator senses max out put of alternator then holds it there.
You should be able to draw all 35 amps from a good battery with the right size wires with the vehicle off.
Some generators use Pulse width Modulators to help control the amps.
I am no expert on Hydrogen Generators so you are way ahead of the game than me. I do keep my ears to the tracks on them.

You will need to know the motor size or number of cylinders. I believe it only came with a 2.0 liter, but I may be mistaken. They may want to know if it is automatic or standard transmission and if it has A/C or not. They will ask what model Galant it is also, base model, GS, GSR, etc.

did ya ever find an answer i have the same problem

just disconnect the electric connection, remove the serpentine belt, unbolt the alternator from the engine and it should come right off, maybe a little prying is needed but should come off pretty easy.
