Question about Hyundai Elantra

1 Answer

Recently I have bought Hyundai LAVITA model 2003. the car is in good condition, but i noticed the indicator of engine temperature always being in the middle of temperature gauge,(( NO warning lights are ON, engine check nor oil check)). Is that caused any problem or means of problem in cooling system of engine? Please provide me with information about this situation? best regards, Nizar Bedwi.

Why is the cooling fan always running when car gets warm on my 2003 hyundai elantra

It is easier to cool a warm engine that to cool an engine at almost over heat condition. So manufacturers run the fan as soon as the engine gets to operating temperature and that gives the cooling system more control of the heat in the system

Blue low engine coolant temperture indicator light is on

I also recently bought a 2002. According to the owner's manual the blue light does not indicate a problem unless it stays on after the car warms up. If you have an automatic it will not shift into fourth gear until the coolant warms up at which time the light should go off. Have only had the car for a week and notice the blue light goes off after a mile or two of driving in temperatures in the teens to 30's. I don't know how much outside temp affects it.

Engine Indicator lamp ON

One reason for the light comming on is the vehicle needs to be serviced. If a service was just done the computer was not reset. You might have to bring it to the dealer to get it reset, otherwise just wait until the next service is done.

1994 Hyundai Excel Air conditioning RADIATOR´S FAN works always very fast

this not really a problem as the fan speed is controlled by the high preasure switch in the ac system the hotter it is outside the higher the preassure will be in the system as hot as its been the preasure is high already when the compressor cycles it pulls suction on one side and outputs high preasure on the other the fans cool the condenser the higher the ambient temp the faster they go so all is fine...
