Is the tapping an engine noise or more like a vibration tapping. Ours makes a very irritating vibration/tapping when idling. VW said last time it was the fuel lines against the body so they insulated them but it has come back after about a week. It is definately not an engine related tapping though.

Clean the pollen filter ,as for engine then change the oil for a detergent oil and also put a couple of squirts of washing up liquid in with the oil as well and run it around for a week then the hydraulic tappet noise should stop then make sure you change the oil every 6000miles with a oil filter every third oil change ,your oil has beeen left too long and its gummed up the hydraulic tappets

Vw polo 2005 1.6 trend not getting hot air in the cabin always blowing cold air no mater how long i have been driving.

the way any motor vehicles interior heater works is by allowing water from the engines cooling system to circulate through a mush smaller radiator located behind the dashboard and the fan blows air through the radiator allowing the warm water to heat the air so when you select warm or cold via the interior controls a valve fitted in line of the water pipes that is linking the engine bay radiator to the interior one allows water to flow which makes me believe that valve is not functioning

Suzuki x4 2009 fan does not spin but when I turn air on it blows cold air.

Not sure which fan you mean. Engine cooling fan is different from heat/air blower fan.

Take the blower assembly out. Some foreign matter may have fallen into it. Clean it and perform bench test.

Air conditioner fan is making a loud noise

1. Could be a caught foreign object between A/C (air conditioning) fan and cooling radiator, producing this loud noise.
2. Could be a damaged fan blade, mowing the cooling radiator.
3. Could be a loud noise comming from the fan's electrical motor.
4. Could be a broken off fin (small wing) of the cooling radiator, striking the A/C fan, producing this loud noise.

Interior air fan speeds 2, 3, and 4 have quit working.

Either the fan itself is shot, or there is a vaccuum leak on the hoses in back of control switch

Car Fan Motor will not blow air, though it makes noise...

Likely you have a blend(air control) door that is malfunctioning or you have debris stuck in blower fan (you would not believe what I have found in some) If noise changes, likely the motor is working and the problem is not electrical.

2004 Honda Accord A/C Blower Motor Make Noie !!!

When you hit the fan, one or more of the fins got bent, this will cause it to spin out of balance. The only way to fix this is replace the fan.

Heater not working

I would check if your vent to the outside is open. If it is I would check the vacum hose that controls the vent to open and close.
