Question about 1990 Chevrolet Camaro
Sounds like and electrical problem. Try unplugging the electrical connections on the AC compressor, than try and start it.
Make sure all your ground connections are clean and tight.
1) There is one from the ground on the battery to the engine
2) There is one from the ground on the battery to fender
3) A ground strap next to the map sensor in the back of the engine from the engine head to the car body.
Does the lights flicker when you attempt to start the car?
That indicates a bad circuit or component somewhere.
I hope that is of some help
