Where cranshaft sensor location

Crankshaft Position Sensor is on the engine. Typically near the front or belt/pulley area. 9 out of 10 times near the bottom of the engine very near the largest pulley on the motor. Some vehicles( less than a third) have more than one. The 2nd would usually be located near the coil/coil pack(s) of ignition system.

Im tyring to find out where the crankshaft sensor is located on a 2000 s-type

should be near the crank shaft pulley that's where most cars put it if not it might be at the rear of the engine. it has to be near either end of the crankshaft so that it can read the reluctor ring.

Looking from the front of the car, the starter is on the left hand side of the engine, low down at the back of the engine block. It is just visible from the top of the engine.

Where is #2 cylinder on 2000 jaguar s type 4.0?And what is code p0302

I recently starting having this problem also (only code p0305/308). That code means "miss-fire" on #2 cylinder. The #2 cylinder is the nearest cylinder on the right (closest to front of car on drivers side) if you are standing in the front of the car.
