Yes it will if it's a diesel.
VW's are among the best at it.
Fuel will soon have to contain 5% bio-origin fuel anyway. Most vehicles produced after 2006 can cope with 30% mix with no problems.
Your supplier can advise more on engine suitability.
At the worst case, you may need to replace a couple of seals in a few years - but well worth doing for cost savings.
