Intake manifold is cracked. Dont start it anymore have the engine rebuilt. If you do not do a full rebuild you are risking major damage. Right now you can probably get away with a simple gasket and bearings kit and a new intake.

Why is gas getting into oil pan. Only when truck is runing?


I asked a mechanic friend of mine and they said that gasoline can get into your oil pan if the engine runs rich and there is some leak down past the piston rings.
You could have a carborator problem that is leaking gas into your intake manifold., possibly too much fuel pressure. Should be 7psi
unless fuel injected.
Could be the float is not rising like it should, you may need to adjust it. The float does not sit where it used to with 100 % gas if your running E10 (ethanol 10%).

How do I get oil pan off on a 2000 Saturn LW300 V6 3.0L


The official shop manual reads :
Remove nose cone brackets bolts from oil pan.
Remove lower transmission flange to oil pan bolts.
Remove oil pan bolts.
Using designated pry points to break loose the seal. Bump the pan with a rubber mallet to loosen the pan from the engine block.
Remove oil pan.
By the illustrations, the only thing in the way is the oil pickup tube.... Good luck !

What would cause fuel to mix with oil


if you have white smoke emitted from the exhaust system that means youv blow a head gasket which lets anti freeze in the engine compartmen and sometimes fuel in the oil pan

this toyota 4 runner takes 5.2 liters of oil and the correct oil is 5W 30 motor oil. hope this helps.

Bad fuel milage!.


Perform fuel injector check, check the Air filter, clean MAF sensor with the MAF sensor cleaner.Dirt sometimes accumulate on the sensor and that could cause for poor mileage.Before changing your engine oil
clean fuel injectors and sludge from the engine using 3 oz pure acetone and 2 oz xylene on 10 gallons of the fuel. Drive vehicle and then change your oil. You will notice a lot of sludge coming out of the pan. After draining oil, remove pan and gasket and clean with solvents and dry with the compressed air. DO NOT clean with the rag because that can contaminate your engine and oil.

You'd have to review a number of items to make this swap, engine rotation, width, depth, location of oil pan sump and such. Your biggest issue will be that of electronics. If your looking for fuel injection you'll have to use the ECU from the other engine with its sensors. Other big issues is engine to transmission transission, you'll have to create a machined plate to act as an adapter to bring the two together. I realize the 3.0 V6 engine can be a challenge to get parts for and such but dollar to dollar replacing the 3.0 V6 with something else would be a costly endevor. I have rebuilt the 3.0 using a lacal shop, it's a challenge but far easier then the engine swap. If you do make the swap post it on youtube as many of us would like to see it.
