The only difference will be the money, you will no longer have

Stay with whatever the MFG recommended when new

When you go with a 4mm center electrode, such as an Iridium, you are going away from what the system was designed to use,and it may run worse and effect the life of the ignition module

Hi There I have a Toyota Sprinter AE-110 1997 model. i am planning to change my spark plugs To BOSH Iridium plugs. Is it ok to the engine system...? Does It make any Differences..? Thanks ASW

I would not spend that kind of money on spark plugs

Just install double platinum

Do not install Bosch with the silly 4 prongs etc
they won't work in some motors

Stay with the OE electrode shape

Spark plugs will make no difference what so ever
as to upgrading to Iridium

I want to replace the standard spark plug of my 1995 2.0 Honda Accord to Iridium Spark Plug. What is the specs of the Iridium Spark Plug will I buy? Does this help in improving the engine performance? in...

I've never found there to be any performance differences for the Accord using copper core plugs versus iridium. The iridium plugs cost substantially more, but last longer. They are more reliable.

However, if you are looking for such things as better performance, then the best potential rests on the copper core type. If you've modified the car such as added a turbo or supercharger, copper plugs are best. The reason for that is that copper core plugs have a lower heat range than iridium. Heat range is in reference to how quickly the electrode cools after the spark has fired. Copper dissipates heat faster than iridium. In your cylinder you want the only fuel ignition source to be the spark and never anything else...such as the end of a spark plug that is still hot enough to ignite your fuel without the spark plug firing. A copper plug is least likely to do this.

What engine will fit a 2001 windstar that uses a shorter spark plug. I had a tune up and the guy used the plugs for 2001 windstar. They do not work well. The plugs that were taken out were shorter. ...

never mess with spark plugs always use the factory recomend type for your engine and always use standard plugs not the fancy expensive iridium, platinum, gold, silver, its a gimmick you wont ever notice a difference and those plugs cost average $16 dollars a NGK stock plugs cost $2 yes i do have to replace them more often and regap them but i taught myself a trick so i dont have to do that the gap for example say .035 i set it for .034 and leave them in for about a good 50k and as they wear down it'll probably be at a gap of .036 and at top speed plugs will operate more efficenltly with a slightly larger gap.

Recommended spark plugs for 2001 acura 32 tl

Iridium or platinum plugs are recommended for the car. The Iridium are a little more costly, but not terribly so. The NGK -Ix-Iridium plug is the one that I would use. It is available at most parts stores and go for about $7 apiece. Hope this helped and best wishes.
