01 2500 hd crew cab wont switch back in to 2 hi wont switch in to anything

You can try to reset it by disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes. the encoder motor on the transfer case is the most common problem. The trouble codes really need to be pulled from the 4x4 module to make sure your not replacing the wrong part. If you post the codes we can go from there. I don't know if auto zone is capable of pulling those codes or not. You might have to take it to a real garage.

When trying to start my 2001 Chevrolet 2500 hd truck it turns over many times before starting, once started as long as you dont let it sit for any period of time it starts right up. I ahve recentlt changed...

Yes this sounds like a problem with the check valve in the fuel pump. it is letting the fuel drain back out of lines so system has to prime itself before fuel reaches engine. try and cycle key a couple times when it acts up this will cycle pump if it cranks rt up after you do this it is the pump.

You'll need to remove the bolts holding the fuel rail to the manifold and disconnect to fuel lines. It will help spraying some WD-40 around where the injectors go in to aid removal.
