How do i set the point in my 1967 buick electra

You use a tool called a dwell meter, start the engine and hook the dwell meter to the coil negative, you should get a reading of 28-32 degrees. The manual method is to put the points on the highest point of the distributor can lobe and set the point gap between the contact buttons to .017-.019"

I Have a 1968 Ford Fairlane and i need to know how to set the points on a single point distributor ASAP Please Thank You

The points should be set with a dwell meter to 27 degrees. Without a dwell meter you could use a feeler gauge and set them at 20 thousandths of an inch. You'll also have to reset the timing because point dwell changes the timing.

Settings for points for 454 engine86 chev c30 scotsdale one ton truck

You have a 1986 454 engine with an old style breaker point ignition distributor, GM has not used a breaker point ignition for their V-8 engines since 1974, is that an older distributor or something after-market?

The ignition points dwell angle for that engine should be set at 29-31 degrees dwell (a dwell meter would be the most accurate way to set the ignition points), or a .019 in. point gap.

The spark plug gap for that engine would be .035 in. and the timing should be set at 10 degrees before top dead center.
