Make sure you are geting a good connection in the bulb socket try willging some of the wire arourd if it comes on even a second its lose wire or bad ground and the problem is at the light it self If not then it could the blinker switch but if one side works the other should to Also check how the front blinker on the same side works If the front blinker on the same side is working then you know it can;t be a bad blinker switch and must be at the rear light hope this helps

Use a test light on it. If you have volts then check for a bad ground.

1977 Dodge Tioga, my breaklights were working and the blinkers weren't, I tried putting in new bulbs for the blinkers but as soon as I did that the break lights stopped working. Is it a fuse?

Could be a fuse but if it is you probably did something that caused a short circuit. Fitting a wrong bulb is not unusual.

Unlikely both rear blinker bulbs would fail at the same time. It is better to work towards a diagnosis by checking the bulbs, testing for a supply and a good ground than replacing bulbs and hoping.

A little used hazard warning light switch is often the cause of sudden indicator failure or even partial failure. A couple of minutes of rapidly operating it on and off often put matters right.

My rear brake light is not working, nor is my blinker at the back right. When I put the right turn signal on it blinks really fast, faster than normal, and the front blinker works. I have replaced both...

Normally with the blinker blinking really fast, it's telling you that one of the bulb is blown, front or rear signals. Check your fuse, and fuse relay to see if it would fix the promblem

My left break and blinker light don't turn on. I have a 2003 dodge neon. can this be a fuse and if it is which one is it?

If the left front light works, then you don't need a fuse you need a bulb for the left rear light.

Right read blinker/break light dont work, turn signal blinks rapidly

It's the bulb. There are two filliments in the bulb. One is for when you turn your lights on and the other is for breaking and blinker flashing. When the break filliment goes bad it causes the blinker to flash very rapidly. 100% the bulb. Change it and all will be good again. P.S. if it were a fuse none of the break lights or blinkers would work.

Using a test light check to see if there is power to the wire at the plug where the bulb is for the blinker. if so the socket is bad. if not check to see if the light assembly is working for ex. the parking lights or the brake light ect If those lights dont work then check the fuse for the right rear tail light. Hope this helps.
