Question about 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage
My passenger window has been a tough one for a while and I never let people use it, but I recently forgot and put it down to push the mirror back out after a car wash. Now I managed to pull it almost all the way up and the crank is STUCK and I don't want to break it or the window. It has about 2 -4 inches to go at most but I ca't pull to much more since the gap is shrinking. I know taking the panel off may help but any suggestions once I do that? Or any other help? I don't care once it is up if it doesn't work as long as it goes the rest of the way up. Help please rain is due today!!!
Some times if there has been water exposed to the inside track of the window that is built inside the door it can start to rust, or if used incorrectly can warp and get out of line so that is the first place i would look. If you feel ambitious i would take off the door panel then roll the window as far up and down as you can and try some silicon based lubricant. Dont Use WD-40 it evaporates too quickly but unfortanately there is no quick fix for this, its going to take a little time and elbow grease ;)

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
