Question about 2000 Jeep Cherokee

2000 jeep cherokee

My blower would start working then quit intermittently havent replaced any thing yet but i don't seem to be getting power at the blower motor plug if i am it is really low The heat, A/C blower on my 2001 Cherokee Sport stopped. Fuse was OK.
Fan did not sound bad when working in all speeds.
The A/C mode did not smell as nice(musty) as the heating mode.
I added refrigerant in May as the air was not cold. Cooling was a bit better
and the fan stopped before I could take the car for a longer drive.
What are the steps to take?

2000 jeep blower motor has quit. What can I do?

Your did great

Now get yourself a wiring diagram & do voltage
drop testing along the same places you just worked
or did your type of checking & replacing thing

I would say it is more likely you have a ground side
issue than a power side issue

2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport heating & a/c problem.

If your saying the blower runs intermittently, I'd start testing at the blower motor when problem is ongoing, if good voltage and ground with no blower action, suspect the blower motor. Did you use a test light to check voltage at fuses, as you can see, one fuse goes hot with the key on, the other fuse is hot all the time. The top wire in diagram for blower motor is voltage, the bottom wire is ground.
Any motor that uses brushes and the brushes are worn badly, the motor may run intermittently.

Heater Air Motor not working on 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee all the controles seem to work they light up and change when you turn the knob but no motor movment tried looking for the fuse but could not find

First off, it's called the blower motor. Check in your manual for the fuse for that. If the fuse is good, it could either be a bad blower motor or blower motor resistor.

Hi Check the termial block wireing going into the blower resister as the power wire is a small gauge( too small in my estimation) for the load it carrys and gets very hot at the terminal block. Check to see if wire and block are burned. There is a repaire kit for this from Chysler.--$30.00
I had the same problem-- Use a jumper wire form the blower back past the resister to the power wire(red I think) to see if the blower starts up when its in one of its down sessions.
