Question about 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee

My daughter has a 1996 jeep grand cherokee and the turn signals are not working I have already changed out the turn signal switch and they are still not working. the hazard lights work but not the turn signal. I am thinking its the flashers but I just can not li=ocate where they are at can you please help>

Both flashers are by the brake pedal. Turn the hazards on to see which is which. See picture below.

A friend had a similar issue, I cannot recall the solution but he used a jeep forum, just google jeep forum and Im sure you will find it easy enough. I do recall though that it was a common fault, sorry I couldnt be nmore help hopefully just pointing you in the right direction

Brake and tailgate sometimes works


Since tail lights are not part of the brake switch, I wouldn't think so. This sounds more like a bad fuse or some other fault. Do either of the turn signals work? Are the turn signals a part of the brake lights or are they independent?

Turn signals do not work but flashers do


There should be a flasher for the hazards and another for the turn signals.

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Turn Signal


Does left / right turn signal work. Either/Or. Probably the switch at the bottom of the indicator "stalk". Big $$$
