How hard is it to replace the radiator in a 1986 Ford Ranger XL 2.9 V6? Where can I find instructions on how to do so?

This is really easy to do. There are a couple bolts to remove and two hoses to disconnect, and the two tranny lines to remove.

If yo ugo to and register for a free account. Then login to the account. Choose vehicle year, make, and model, then choose "view repair manual"

Then pick on cooling system.

Replace rear brake line hose on 2000 ford ranger xl 4x4

Not a hard job it will take a lil money tho u need the steel line long enough to reach from master cylinder to the wheel then just run the line along the old line I wouldnt remove the old line from clips unless you want to end up replacing them all. Securing the new line with zip ties will work

My 1986 ford ranger 2.9 v6 engineafter driving for a while it sputters from gas and stalls.does it have (2) fuel pumps? 1 in the outside frame and 1 in the tank?

Yes there are two (2) fuel pumps on these pickups, one low pressure one in the tank that gets the fuel to the high pressure pump which is in the inside of the drivers frame rail beneath the cab towards the front of the cab.

1986 ford mustang 3.8 v6.... no spark. sparks when releasing the key from the start postion

ignition coil OK, check pick up coil in distributor if it has orange color one replace it.

Could be a bad Throttle position sensor, and starter solenoid.

check the ignition switch, they separate and cause this stall out, try holding the ignition to the crank position just short of causing the starter to run, if the engine stays running then the ignition switch is defective, Ford recalled many of these for this problem, not sure your truck was affected, but it does use the sam switch and gets the same problem.
