There is usually a panel in front of the taillight assembly, this will need to be removed by loosening the securement tabs or screws. They sometimes will just pull off by plastic rivets that have a push prong in the middle to release or by just prying or pulling. This should give you access to the light assembly. Then the bulb will have a twist lock to secure it, turn counterclockwise to release and your bulb socket should come out with the burnt out lamp. Replace with the same size and type and reverse the procedure to install.
Thre are two possible things wrong, one is bulbs, always check these first, and second the reverse switch on the gear box, either the switch is duff or the connections to it are,
Locate the switch and check for 12v, if that is OK then connect the two connectors on the switch, (I use a 7a blade type fuse) and see if the lights (the one you have checked the bulb on) is working, if it dos the problem is in the switch and you will need to replace it.
