Perol gauge fault

My petrol gauge on my nissan primera 52 reg 1.8 petrol reads empty all the time with the amber light on does any body have a wiring diagram or has any one come across this problem before

i have selected a model of car but it not this because you dont have an option for nissan primera

    petrol gauge on my 1988 Nissan pulsar GXE reads 3/4 full when I know the tank is full. recently changed the instrument cluster (tach wasn't working)

    Is there a way to test & eliminate which may be faulty, the gauge or the sending unit.

Its the sender unit in the tank! i had the same problem with my primera 1.8 just wear and tear!!

Dont know the year ur car which would of help but the fuel sending unit in ur gas tank usualy the cause of this

Nissan primera 2005 1.8 sx goes limp mode at night with lights and wipers on. No measurable battery or charger problems. Switch off lights and the problem goes away instantly.
The only thing these components have in common is the ground wires. There are many grounds on a vehicle. But the main three are the battery to body, battery to engine and engine to body. These are fairly large wires/cables. They should be checked with an ohm meter. I replace or repair any wires that have more than 5.0 ohms of resistance.

1999 t reg nissan Primera-- intermittantly not starting then after 10 -15 mins car starts and runs for a day or two fine.Have tried bumping the car but that does not work- looks like no spark at the plugs...

Nissan 97 Terrano II 2.7td. Check engine light on however no faults show. Vehicle so far seems to be running fine. Possibly ECU faulty? Location of ECU unknown.

Nissan Primera petrol P12 - malfunction warning light (picture of engine)showing on dash, had it checked by auto sparky no fault found.
tats the engine management light mate usally comes on when u have low oil or antthing to do with the engine bring it to nissan dealer if its not low oil they will hook it up to a machine and bingo they have your problem.

Locate your petrol tank, then at top of it there is a hole where you can get access to the float level switch, before you removed it you check the socket on it, maybe lose connection.

turn ignition to position 2 turn off radio push and hold info button whilst turning volume button on radio a new menu will appear on screen go into confirmation adjustments then go into service and reset

2005 Nissan Maxima - Windows roll down on its own, when I unlock doors they relock immediately after. I came out this morning to find my driver and passenger windows rolled down completely. Tried to research the problem and saw that many people had this problem with many solutions but nothing working so far. It's not the key fob. I removed the battery and problem still persists. I have removed the master switch and door panel to have better access to the inside and checked it out. Nothing obvious. When I plug the switch back in, the windows roll down and even up one if the times, the door starts locking and unlocking. I can hear clicking from near the fuse box but am unsure of where exactly. Guessing there's a relay of some sort under there but can't see it. I'm guessing it's shorting or grounding out somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do have a multimeter for testing if necessary. Thanks!
