There are many things that may cause this but the most common would be a bad belt pulley or an acc, like the ac compressor clutch or the alternater, you would need to remove the belt and spin each pulley by hand to see if there noisey or loose,

2003 Rendezvous when I start to turn the ignition there is a humming noise and it continues after being turned on. As I drive the humming will increase with acceleration and decrease as I slow down.

If the noise appears to come from under the hood/engine area, suspect a bearing in one of the accessory pulleys to be causing the noise. ( Alternator/AC compressor/idler/tensioner etc ).

Low pitch humming noise

May well be. You might want to check your coolant. If you're low (but not yet overheating) your fan will come on more often.

My '06 Honda Odyssey has gotten noisy recently.

If it is filled up to the "full hot" mark then you are okay, fluid wise. It almost sounds like once it gets warmed up, it starts running better. The "growling" noise (especially when turning) could be from it not getting enough fluid. Other than that, your power steering pump maybe on its last legs, and it is taking time to warm up before it starts pumping fluid correctly. Just make sure that you power steering resevoir is completely filled to the proper mark.

My 2004 Suzuki Verona will not start is making humming , clicking noise where fuse box under hood is thout was ignition fuse but not that battery is good don't know what else to do

Clicking noise is normal for relays but humming sounds like one of the relays is not engaging properly.Try swapping relays of the same type and see if it solves the problem.

Humming noise under the hood

It could be the ABS. MY HONDA DOES THE SAME THING.
I took it to PepBoys yesterday and they could not connect to the
computer interface. They said I need to take it to a honda dealer
so they can connect and determine what is wrong with the
Automatic breaking system. The noise is the ABS motor
turning on and off.
