The heater blower motor needs to be checked. If the resistor is replaced but still the motor is not getting started then its faulty heater blower motor.Get the 12 volt checked by meter to confirm power to the motor. If no power then its faulty motor causing this problem.

Hello my ba xr8 2003 sedan a/c and heater fan is not working all fuses are good. I do hear the different air positions work doe when I push the button what is wrong can someone help plz

Faulty blower motor or relay. They also have a resister that can go bad, usually mounted close to the blower motor hooke up by wires and connector, should be able to trace wires from motor to resister fairly easy.

Heater does not work

Check heater fuse.
If fuse good - could be a failure of the blower fan motor or blower control switch.
If fuse bad - bad blower fan motor could have blown the fuse.
DO: check fuse, then blower motor.
Pricing: new blower motor: Duralast PM270 $43.99
new heater control switch: Duralast SW229 $46.99 (without
A/C).
I'd expect your blower resistor to be good - when they fail, the blower only will work on HIGH setting.

My Blower motor for my heater on a 99 ford escort is not working. Is it the motor or resister that is gone??the fuses look ok where is the resister located can you send a diagram

look in passenger foot well on blower case for 4 wire connector.

Behind right side of I/P, A/C-heater plenum

resister bad would still allow high speed. may be blower motor.

  • The blower motor does not operate/does not operate correctly
  • Open fuse.
  • Tripped circuit breaker.
  • Circuitry open/shorted.
  • Heater blower motor switch (18578).
  • Heater blower motor switch resistor (18591).
  • Blower motor relay.
  • Blower motor.

you have either a bad blower motor resister or a bad blower motor. the resister is located in the heater box close to the blower motor.

89 Chrysler New Yorker , heater/blower came on while driving, can't turn it off. The buttons don't work.

Try a new heater blower motor resister, most likely shorted out, the resister controls blower speeds, and also makes blower run.
