Question about 1999 GMC Yukon
Have the cranshaft position sensor checked and make sure the wiring isn't grounded somewhere. If the Crankshaft Position Sensor is bad or skipping a little the engine will crank but not start. It is located on front of engine behind fan. Haynes Manual (#24065?) has a great section on troubleshooting the sensors. Good Luck

SOURCE: 99 Yukon windshield wipers
We had the same problem and sometimes they wouldn't turn off. The intermittent wipers were random. We replaced the wiper motor. Be sure to get the motor with two balls on the wiper shaft (one for each wiper arm). If you can't find it, you'll have to change the part out on the new motor. Keep the wiper arms in the same location on removal, or it will jam and you'll have to start over.

Bad grounds at ECM, loose harness from ECM, bad ignition switch.

Testimonial: "Hey folks appreciate all the advice I found my problem to be a battery connection on the hot post side, wish I found it before paying for a ignition switch replacement. Thanks again"
