The stock size rim is a 16" just as info.. Try a 265/70/15. It will give the width and the heigth that is taken away by the one inch missing on the rims.

Can I replace the 215/70/r15 tires on my 2003 Kia Sedona with 235/75/r15 without an issue? I dont want it to rub anywhere as it is a bigger tire.

there are two differences in the tires
one is bigger in the side wall height and holds the rim edge further from the road
the other is the fitted rim width
that is the problem dimension because if it is wider that the rim dimension it will allow the tire to roll off the rim when cornering
It may also cause problems with rubbing as the side wall are greater than the other size
For legal and exacting information of substituting tires , talk with a tire retailer as they have the experience to know exactly what you have

Rubbing sound near front right tire espeically when turning

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome Amanda. Your tire might be hitting the front corner of the fender when you are turning. Your rim could be bent also or a bad tire. It could also be your brake shoes rubbing the rotor. They may have come loose, need adjusted, or need changed. If they need changed, you usually will hear high pitch squealing. You could also have a bad caliper.

My tires are 215/75r15`s can i use a different size tire on there and if so what size would it be

there are several different sizes you can use, its just important to remember to check clearances oround your fender well, and that you dont want tires to wide for your rims. offers a list of recomended tire sizes by vehicle, or at this site, when you put in tires sizes to compare, they prozide you with a list of warnings, as well as what you can expect your vehicle to behave like. hope this helps and good luck!

Will 235/70R/15 tires fit on a 91 ford taurus?

Thats a tall tire but it depends on the size tire/rims that are on it. I have a 91 taurus that has 14 inch rims, the only draw back on taller tires are the fender wells, make sure the tires do not rub the fenders. especially the front, if you put them on, turn the front wheels to the left, then check to feel or see that they do not rub. then turn wheels to the right and recheck for clearance. good luck, if the fit and clear.

Will 265/75 r16 tires fit on 2000 chevy silverado

Well I would say yes if it is the new body style and 4x4.Even 2WD you may have to turn up the torsion bars then get the front end aligned. The rims don't matter how tall just wide.I have 2002 4x4 1500 with that size, but not sure what was stock on mine.I also installed the after market torsion keys that will allow for up to 33"tires.Well hope this helps and good luck.

Took wheels off and now 3 of them rub against the shock the front drivers side and both rear.

same wheels, if so then rim is not properly mounted remove one at a time, you may have to clean were rim mounts on to hub,the rim should slide on easy, you should not have to tighten lug nut to get the wheel to sit all the way back if thats the case then cleaning of center of rim and hub is needed, good luck.

Hit on right rear at wheel well, wheel pushed in at top what could be the problem?????thanksComment posted on May 11, 2200+9-

I don't understand your question fully (Hit?). If you were involved and a collision and your tire rubs on the fender, get the fender fixed ASAP! Tires can get peeled like a banana if they come into contact with any sharp piece of metal, and if its rubbing on the inner fender, then friction heat caused by this can cause the tire become weak in that area and subsequently blow out.... If that is not the problem, or case then her are more causes for tires rubbing...

Tires "Out of Alignment", non-factory rims and/or tires, wrong size, width, rim "off-set" etc., suspension coil springs and. or shocks (car sitting lower than usual), twisted chassis due to accident or other impacts

Take your Alero to any reputable tire dealer and they will assist you in hopes of selling you something. Just tell them you want an estimate and that you want to be sure you won't have a rubbing problem with this change.
