I would first find out what engine codes are present. Most parts stores can retreive the codes for free. It sounds like you might a have cylinder that isn't firing or a vacuum leak. The engine code should help guide you into the direction of what is wrong parts wise.

If the coolant was frozen when you started the motor then there could be engine damage. If ok then run the fault codes and check for a faulty ambient temperature sensor.

Honda accord ex 2001 check engine light suddenly came on, car started to idle roughly

If it's running rough, chances are that it's misfiring. If the Check Engine light is flashing/blinking, it is definitely misfiring.
If that's the case, drive it as little as possible... Or straight to the mechanic because the more you drive it while it's misfiring, the higher the chance is of you ruining your catalytic converter.

I was driving , next thing i know mmy honda accord (engine light ) started flashing,. i noticed the car was shaky as well

a flashing check engine light means catalyst damaging misfire which is just about the worst thing for your engine. i suggest not driving it til its fixed. misfires will cause it to shake. check for spark first.

Check engine light flashing and car shaking

Have the vehicle scanned to determine the origin of the problem. In all probability the check engine light is pointing toward the faulty device that is making the car shake.
