Could be the knock sensor or faulty cam or crank sensor. one of these could be failing but it's recommended to read the engine codes with a scanner as it will tell you the exact fault.

back side of block under intake if its a 2.2 or a 2.3 if its a 3.0 its on the passenger side of engine bay if you turn the wheel you will be looking at it

I drive that car every day and have been chassing this problem for a long time. Check the ground strap from the battery to the gear box below the battery left side - clean it real well and keep it well tight. While you are it do the same battery ground strap to the body near the battery. Scratch off the paint where the strap seats...
How does you idle sound: smooth and a bit high or jurky and a bit slow? This is caused by the fuel pump surging for its 5Amps due to ground strap above.
I too was getting misfirings from these Coil Over Plugs (COP) so at one point I decided to over drive them under 17VDC. I was getting better spark all right but it was still not perfect the problem was the mixture.
Check that your TPS reads 600mV +/-2mV at idle. I had my throttle body replaced by Acura because the gas pedal what sticky and the replacement was factory misadjusted big time. Take a quick look: the TPS adjustement screws need to be about in the center of the slot. Search under my ID I have made some postings that will help cure driveability issues with our cars.
Like you I was chassing my tail for a while swaping parts (fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, COP, MAP and O2 sensor...) until I became real familiar with the darn ECM behaviors. THE CLs INJECTION IS REALLY SENSITIVE and quick to detune the engine to keep emissions low.

1.bend a paperclip into a u shape. 2.disconnect the yellow plug in your fuse box under the steering wheel and insert the paperclip into the plug that is now hanging there to complete the circuit.3.turn the ignition on and the srs light will stay on for 6 seconds, then turn off.disconnect the paperclip within 4 seconds after that and the light will come back on.4. reconnect the paperclip within 4 seconds and the srs light will turn off again.5.within another 4 seconds of it going off, disconnect the paperclip and the light will blink letting you know that you have completed all the steps right. you can also use some speaker wire
