SOURCE: Third Brake light in Hyundai Sonata

I had the same issue. It's pretty much impossible to fix it as a consumer. My mechanic didn't even know how to do it, so I was forced to take it the the dealership. They do it and it takes them about 40min. If I can recall right, it took them this long because they said it's a pain to get to and I believe had to unassemble the top part of the trunk. It cost about $10-$15.

SOURCE: change spark plugs 2001 4 cyl hyundai sonata

You change One spark plug, and One wire at a time. Do you know where your timing belt is? If not, its on either the right or left side of the engine. There is a covor to the timing belt. You take the First plug that is closest to that belt. Then you work your way to the next closest all the way to the last one. Remember, you have to do ONE at a time.

SOURCE: Hyundai 2006 Sonata high mount brake light.

the rear seat does NOT have to be removed in order to replace the stoplamp and/or its bulb.
you have to get into the trunk, and there are (2) philips screws holding the stoplamp secured to the package tray. the actual process takes about 15 minutes, because to do it right you have to actually get IN the trunk.

the price they charged you sounds about right if the price of the stoplamp is included, dealerships tend to overcharge for parts.

SOURCE: parking brake light stays on

If it's just the light that stays on, often that's a sign that your brake fluid is low.

Good afternoon. I have a 2001 model 2.7 Litre Hyundai Sonata. VIN KMEHM41FR2A543636, Engine G6BA1354407. Where is he fuel filter located? I have received very conflicting advice.

No matter where it is this can be found the same way. It should be located under the car on the drivers side about mid way down the vehicle on the gas line. If you do not see it there you can follow the gas line from the tank forward until you run into it. This should not take you more than 10 minutes to find. It looks like a mini keg with taps coming out of both sides.

I wish to replace both the fuel filter and fuel pump in my 2001 model Hyundai Sonata 2,7 litre V 6 car. Can you please advise a price and exactly where is is located.

Your fuel pump is on top of the gas tank and your fuel filter will be in the fuel line probably about the mid range of the car on the drivers side on the bottom side. The fuel filter should be no more than 25 dollars and the pump is probably going to be in the 90 to 150 range.

dont know this particular vehicle but locate your owners manual and the fuse box or boxes in your vehicle will be shown in it. there should also be a list of what each fuse in the box is so check them out and make sure they arent blown. if you dont have your owners manual the most common places for a fuse box are under the dash on either the passenger or drivers side, under the hood (usually next to the battery but not always), on the side of the dash (drivers side) as soon as you open the door and on rare occasions under the back seat or even in your trunk.

I need to replace the master cylinder 07 sonata 3.3

Well, you unbolt the old one and bolt in the new one, and connect the hoses, but I presume that the following will be the most helpful detail:

BENCH BLEED the new master cylinder (m/c) before installing it. They sell a little bleed kit at the auto parts store, which has hoses that screw into the brake line connections on the m/c, then they turn back and go UNDER the fluid level within the m/c, pump until no bubbles.

Then leave the hoses on during install of m/c. Pump pedal again, check for no air...then un do one hose at a time and hook in brake line.

This works, anything else is VERY frustrating, if ever successful. It all has to do with getting out the air.

How do I find and get to the Evap Canister in a 2000 Hyundai Elantra?

I have a 1997 Hyundai Sonata, mine was located behind the rear drivers side tire; between the rear drivers side tire, and the rear bumper, lay under the rear bumper on that side and it might be there, it was for me... My bracket rusted out and made the canister drag on the ground, oops! but I hope this helps!
