Powe doors and liftgate won't work from fob or overhead consol after battery low (not enough power to start car) Done all that manual asks and even tried disconnecting battery and reconnecting - still fob and overhead won't work. (Works only from handles and door switches.

I have the same problem and have read that clearing the DTC codes will fix the problem. Has anyone done this?

1) Unlock all doors from driver's door while it is open. The driver's door is the only door to remain open during this process! 2) Turn the key from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the eighth turn ending in RUN. All the doors will lock and unlock if program is successful. 3) Turn key OFF and remove key from ignition. Within 20 seconds, press any button on the remote. (Press sliding door or rear hatch and it will open!) 4) If door locks do not respond, wait several seconds and press button again. If doors still fail to respond, try repeating steps (1-3).

The power requirements for the power sliding door (PSD) are 2 battery supply circuits to each PSD. The smart junction box (SJB), located under the steering wheel, fuse 11 (5A) supplies battery logic power required for the software and internal switching operations for both PSDs. Left PSD motor, clutch and latch release actuator power is supplied by bussed electric center (BEC), located under the hood next to 12V battery, fuse 16 (30A) . Right PSD motor, clutch and latch release actuator power is supplied by BEC fuse 5 (30A) .
Ground for the PSD is a separate single connection for each module. Some of the continuous inputs which are at a ground state when ON are also used for logic switching.
The ignition switch source is from the SJB fuse 13 (5A) for both PSDs. The ignition power is used for diagnostic functions.

Step #3 may require pressing the remote (sliding door) button within 5 seconds after doors lock and unlock. Then turn key OFF and remove from ignition to test remote and overhead console buttons.

In step 3 it took me turning off the ignition & NOT REMOVING THE KEY FROM IGNITION then operate a sliding door using the remote button with in 5 sec of turning the key to the "off" postition.

You have to have the GEM module reset.

I have a 2007 Buick Lucerne and the front reading lamps won't turn off.

Overhead Console Lamp and Roof Rail Courtesy/Reading Lamps
The courtesy/reading lamp is a duel purpose lamp that can be illuminated two different ways. First, the lamp can be turned ON during courtesy lamp operation as described above. Second, the lamps can be turned ON individually for reading lamp operation by the lamp switch. The BCM supplies battery voltage from the INT LAMPS fuse through the inadvertent power courtesy lamps circuit to the courtesy/reading lamps for reading lamp operation only. Ground for the courtesy lamp module or the roof/rail reading lamps is provided at G402

Courtesy Lamps
When either one of the front doors is opened, ground is applied through the door latch door open switch and the door open switch signal circuit to the door module indicting the door open position. In response to this signal, the door module sends a GMLAN serial data message to the BCM of the door open position. Or, when either one of the rear doors is opened, ground is applied through the door latch door open switch and the rear door open switch signal circuit to the BCM is indicating the rear door open position. Once a door open message or signal received, the BCM will then apply battery voltage from the CTSY/RF TRN fuse through the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuits illuminating the lamps listed below:
• Overhead console lamp
• Roof rail courtesy lamps
• Footwell courtesy lamps The BCM receives battery voltage from the INT LAMPS fuse in order to supply power to the inadvertent courtesy lamps. Inadvertent power courtesy lamp feature provides a similar function for the interior lamps as a retained accessory power feature. The BCM will energize the courtesy lamps supply voltage circuit when the BCM is in the active state (awake). When the inadvertent power courtesy lamps supply voltage circuit is energized, it supplies voltage to all the interior lights listed below. The BCM will continue to supply voltage to the interior lamps after the ignition is turned OFF so that the interior lamps may be operated.
• Overhead Console Reading Lamps
• Roof Rail Reading Lamps
• Vanity Mirror Lamps
• I/P Compartment Lamp
• Rear Compartment Courtesy Lamp
In the event that any of these lamps were to remain illuminated for a period of more than 20 minutes with the ignition switch in the OFF position and no BCM input activity, the BCM will deactivate the inadvertent power supply voltage circuit to prevent a total battery discharge condition. The BCM receives battery voltage from the CTSY/RF TRN fuse in order to supply power to the courtesy lamps. The BCM applies this voltage to the courtesy lamps through the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuits. When any door is opened, the door open switch contacts close and the BCM receives a door-open signal. If the BCM receives a door lock or unlock signal, the BCM will activate the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit, providing battery voltage to the dome lamps and the left and right footwell courtesy lamps. The courtesy lamps can be manually activated by placing the interior lamp switch in the DOME position. For more detailed information concerning courtesy lamp operation refer to Interior Lighting Systems Description and Operation.

Battery was disconnected for a while. Did the code reset & B pillar buttons work and doors respond to outside handles but overhead console by driver isn't working. Suggestions?

You may have to turn the overhead console door switch off and on several times to refresh its memory as to its purpose. I have encountered this problem a number of times when periodically replacing a dead battery.

Sounds like the power sliding door master switch on the overhead console is either in the off position, or something has gone wrong with the switch or the wiring. I'd check that switch and perhaps even actuate is a few times. It's the one to the far right.

How do i reprogram the power sliding door on a 2005 buick terraza

From the owner's manual:

If your vehicle has

the dual power sliding doors, both doors will have

to be reset. To reset a door, do the following:

1. Check to be sure the power sliding door is

unlocked and securely closed.

2. Turn the ignition to LOCK.

3. If the power sliding door overhead console

switch is in the override (deactivation)

position, return to the activation position.

4. Open the sliding door using the remote

keyless entry transmitter, overhead console

switch, or passenger switch. Allow the door to

travel fully open.

If the door does not travel to the fully open

position, press the overhead console switch to the

override (deactivation) position and slide the

door fully open and closed. Check for foreign

objects in the tracks. Repeat the procedure starting

with Step 1. If the door resists travel to the fully
open position, see your retailer for service.

All my remotes won't unlock passenger doors, why?

this is a problem that can appear after your car battery died, cause the car didn't reset propely, so taking the battery out and putting it back in or letting your car die again would do the trick. I tried a lot of reprogramming procedured for my remote key, none of them worked, what did the trick though was simply unlocking the doors via the all door unlock button on the passenger side door, so simple.

Did these doors quit at the same time or over a period. It seems that the actuators for the locks have gone bad. With the mentioned doors, that's a lot weight for the actuators to unlock and pop open. With the remotes and console not working , that's more reason to think the actuators are the problem.
