hitting side of windshield sound like blade sticking out too far too long.have you replaced them recently or did they just start hitting sides of the windshield.

I have the correct wiper blades, they are not hitting anything. The noise seem to be mechanical inside the cowl plenum , but all mounts and wiper mechanisms are tight and seem to be in correct adjustment. I guess its gonna be trial anderror til I fix it myself.

CHECK AROUND WIPER MOTOR WHILE OPERATING TO SEE IF YOU HEAR ANY MECHANICAL NOISES INSIDE WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY.

My windshields wipers wont work

If that happens, your windshield wipers will not work at all and you won't be able to clear any water, dirt, or snow that ends up on your windshield. Replace the windshield wiper motor right away. The windshield wiper fuse is burnt out. When the windshield wiper motor is overloaded, the fuse burns out.23 Nov 2015

Windshield wipers blow past my windshield when I drive 20 mph or faster

sounds like they have been taking off and returned to the improper location. or at worst the splines in the arm at the end off the wiper or the shaft they are on is stripped.

The windshield wipers are stuck vertically and now

This sounds like the wiper motor has failed. You can pick one up at the local parts store. If not mechnically savvy, I would recommend taking to shop for working in tight areas that these can be. But, otherwise, the motor is on the fire wall, unplug, remove screws(4), exchange with new, and reassemble as removed. I hope this helps.

Windshield wiper arms

The wiper blades might be the wrong size (too long). Or the arms might have to be removed and repositioned so they line up in the right spot at each end of their travel. If the wipers look like they're flopping about or going at different speeds right from left, then the linkage is broken and you'll need to buy a good used linkage from a wrecker.

hello, this sounds like your wiper transmission got out of alignment possibly due to ice on windsheild.don't really know.short of replacing you could loosen the nut under the cover and move wiper arm back possibly.

Windshield wiper connector

you might be able to claim it but how much is your deductible? I would look under the hood for the snapped linkage. should be located on fire wall under the windshield wipers and see if the autoparts store has one.
