Are they both on the turn signal stick? If so that is called a multi function switch and it probably is bad. This is a popular problem on newer cars.

My wipers are working only some of the time, motor runs.. wipers don"t

ok here ya hood along the back cowl locate the wiper motor, there is a bolt that holds the square plastic piece called the wiper pulse module its a easy fix and you almost...cant mess it up. you can also turn the wipers on and when they arent working smack the pulse module with your hand.they will propably come on and thus confirming it is worn and bad.tahe it off you will see how it works.hope this helped let me know have a good day Darrell

Bad wiper motor. there is an internal electrical switch inside the motor.

96 caravan wipers not working

Could be many things. Check the fuse and relay under the hood, if you can hear the wiper motor running but the wipers arent working then they are off the track. and finally in non of those are it then replace the wiper motor.

Problems with tun signal/wiper arm on 2004 chevy venture mini-van

I had the same thing - it also affects the 4 way flashers.  you'll end up replacing the entire control arm (turn signal lever)
Good luck!
