When you try to go from 2WD to 4L, are you putting the truck into park or neutral ?

So it will go into 4wheel high and not 4lo? are you in neutral and barely moving whn shifting to low?if not try this. If so the most likley cause is going to be the actuator motor that shifts transfer case

You're supposed to be in neutral or park with your foot on the brake

sometimes foot on brake can cause a binding when engaging 4lo so a little rolling will allow to slip in and some vehicles will not shift into 4 lo from park

My 1995 GMC Jimmy won't let me switch into four wheel drive. I had in this morning in 4 wheel low, but when I went to put it into high nothing. Now it feels like the button is stuck, none of the lights...

there is a "modulator " on the transfer case with a 3-4 pin plug that fails often.this may be defective as well as the relay component that turns it on(rwhich is located under the battery)...try cheching/changing these first....the "modulator" is about 30 bucks and the relay is about the same

How do you turn off the four wheel drive on a 1994 s-10 blazer? the switch has only high & low

No 2H or neutral? If this model is considered an awd (all wheel drive) instead of 4 wheel drive you will not be able to turn it off.

Only the passenger side wheels will turn in four wheel drive high or low. Why?

you have whats called open differintials. this makes cornering easier and reduces tire wear. if you truely want all four wheels to turn you need to have lockers installed. these can be found in most 4x4 mags, but are not really easy to put in
