The crankshaft positioner is located on the passenger side of the block near the starter.

There should be an inspection hole on the housing to line the slave cylinder pin up with the throw out . there's usually a bolt there to keep dirt out but its not the end of the world if there's not

What year engines will interchange with a 1997 s10

The 2.2L engine is fairly universal. You may need to use the original crankshaft position sensor, however. The 96 had a different connector than the 97 engines had. You should not have too much trouble swapping out this engine. Chevrolet is really good about not changing too many items for each year.

2001 S10 truck 2.2 i have good fuel pressure and good spark at the plugs but it will not start, i have replaced the module the cam and crank sensor please help

WHEN EVER YOU REPLACE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR AND CAMSHAFT SENSOR YOU NEED TECH 2 SCANNER TO RELEARN BOTH SENSORS TO THE PCM SO THEY CAN FIRE IN THE CORRECT TIMING AND FIRING SEQUENCE BEFORE VECHICLE WILL CRANK.

I have a 1991 s10 blazer it has no fire from the coil i have replaced both the coil and the module anad still no fire it has voltige at the coil

Sound like you have a bad distributor pick up assembly, the distributor assembly pick up coil is what breaks down the voltage at ignition coil to give it spark, distributor will need to come out to replace pick up coil, mark your distributor rotor so when reinstalling you install at same position.
