Clean and check the ground wires in the engine compartment. Replace them if they are bad. Make sure the alternator, engine, transmission, and distributor grounds all have good contact.

Pathfinder "cuts out" at 2,300 rpm

Replace your MAF, its a little pricey around $280.00 or so but this will clear the code but make sure you have the ECM reprogrammed to perform a "learning" sequence since sometimes the code will not clear even though the vehicle will run like new. This reprogramming will most likely have to be a dealer performed procedure.

2000 beetle , bucks , stutters , acts like it's running out of gas

So many possibilities. But I would look for arcing on the coil packs. Use dialectic paste on all the plug wire connections. Arcing is easiest to see at night.
If it is the purge valve, then opening the gas cap to relieve vacuum will temporarily make it run better.
Look for vacuum leaks.
Temporarily pinch off hoses to see if they are the source of a leak.
Try putting gas dryer in the tank, in case there is water.

2000 expo. 5.4L 135,000 miles.replaced #2 coil and plug.runs good when cold but once it warms up it starts acting like it still has a bad coil and is misfiring.I need help. anybody have a guess whats...

If it is still the #2 cylinder. First I would swap the coil and check, you could have purchased a bad coil. If after the swap it is still #2, pull the injector wire and check the ohm's on the injector( 11 to 15 ohms, most of the time around 14 ohms). run the engine until you get the missfire, then check the ohms on the injector again, there should be very little difference. if there is a major difference or went out of range replace it

Engine revs perfect to 2500 RPM then chokes out will not run past that rpm. While driving it will not go over 2000 rpm. I changed the plugs, wires, checked all of the vaccum lines even checked for...

Remove your fuel filter and blow through it. Replace as necessary. It may be necessary to check fuel pressure while in operation to verify a drop in pressure. Warm the engine for about 10 minutes and take for a hard test drive around the block and see if that catalytic converter is glowing red(I know you said you checked it). Replace as necessary. Something is plugged. Let me know what you find.

It could be a spark plug, plug wire, or a coil. Sometimes thay break down intermittently. If it needs a tuneup, that would be the first thing to do.

Defective tachometer and speedometer

Do the following:1)key in the ON position:remove the 7.5 gauge fuse.Tach needle should read "0:". 2)put it back,go on the engine and unplug the green plug on the igniter -the big one, with 5 or 6 wires on it.The needle on tach reading should be zero.If not you have a short circuit on the black wire between that plug and the plug on the conbination meter.3) If the reading is zero with the plug disconnected, the black wire for the tach is short-circuited inside the igniter. I have one available.email daddykouki@gmail.com
