Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If your car and headlights are off then you will not get a shock. You have to unplug the bulb to replace it anyway so there is no way for you to get shocked.

Driving light

if it's the same as my 2006 there is a seperate bulb in the upper inside corner of the high beam section of the light assembly. From behind..you twist and pull it out. Be careful not to touch the blub as this will greatly shorten the life if the bulb. (oils and dirt from your hands make it heat up alot hotter than normally)

How do I change the headlight bulb on a 2003 Mazda6

Just went to my local store - they sell the bulbs and fit them while you wait...the guy does a lot of them - he had it done in 10 minutes and charged 12 pounds including the bulb. I watched him do it - twisted the cover off - popped the bulb out and popped the new one in ...he didn't actually unbolt anything from the car...worst of all it was dark and raining...I'd suggest this route unless you have small hands or are willing to spend an hour fiddling around
