Question about 1992 Chevrolet K1500
Hi, if your engine cranks normally but will not start because it has no spark, or it stalls and won't restart because it has no spark, the problem may be due to any of the following:

First off the K1500 did not come with a 3100 V6 but instead has the 4.3L V6. But assuming this is the correct engine in whatever 1992 vehicle you have then the 1 & 4 plugs are fired by the same coil pack on the 1991 3100 V6. If you replaced the coil and still have no spark you either got a defective new coil, which is possible, or you have a wiring or connector issue. Check the wiring and the connections very carefully. I also assume you have replace the spark plugs and have run a compression test on #1 & 4 cylinders just to make sure you do not have a burnt valve or blown head gasket. Not likely as the cylinders are on opposite banks, but you never know.
