You can fix this but you need some specical tools You need a tubeing cutter and a flaring tool you can buy sections of brake line im not suppose to name stores but it begins with an N and ends with an A cut the line back to a point where its sound its easyer if you can remove the other end at a fitting then you;ll olny have to make one flare under the vehicle the flareing tool is about 30 dollars and the tubeing cutter is around 5 -10 dollars thr line is cheap You need to flare the old line to make it work with the new fitting you can;t use compression fittngs there not legal and won;t work if you have a problem getting the fitting end of at the rear wheel try hitting it with a propane torch for a few seconds not to long don;t start a fire or melt your rear wheel cylinder The instructions for the flareing come with the tool don;t try to dubble flare its not nessary but this will be a perminate fix and all you have to do is bleed the rear drivers side wheel cyinder good luck

Damaged/leaking brake line on virtually any car/truck is fixed the same way.

MUST replace with NEW STEEL tubing (may be coated for rust protection).

As Pier said, NEVER use compression fittings or anything except steel - they will not withstand the 3000 PSI

You MUST use exact same flare fasteners and same flare on the tube (typically bubble flare in Euro or double flare in USA) as your old line. Read flare tool instructions carefully. Do not re-use old flare fastners

Steel tubing can be bent by hand, and is best bent over a small jar or bottle to prevent kinks. If you get a kink, the line is garbage.

Check other posts on how to bleed brakes. or wikipedia.

We have a cage and can't access the back of the van and now both the rear door and side door are broke. How can we get in the cargo from the outside of the van

Not an easy one if you are meticulous about the condition of your van.

Since you have 2 broken doors already, I suggest either a trip to a good mechanic or a chainsaw.

Sounds like there is air in the brake lines. did you bleed the fluid until it came out clear? Not foamy color.

1997 F350 diesel brakes just quit working and simultaneously the engine started clicking??? Any clues?

I would look at the brake booster line. I have the same truck and it was the vacumn line off the booster.

The fuel pump is on top of gas tank inside, you have to lower the tank, unless is mounted on gas tank side, follow fuel lines, thy are two, one main and one return, the fuel filter is on the main under driver
